Anti-Fur Thoughts and mottoes

I would like to share with you some of my thoughts, sentences, notes, quotes about the fur industry. Feel free to use those words, to denounce this horrific trade. Question: If a woman (or any other person) loving fur had to directly be involved in the immoral, sadistic and atrocious killings of animals: By hunting, trapping, beating, slaughtering, clubbing to death, skinning her ‘fashion’ victims, ALL by herself: Would she still see their ripped out, stolen, bloody pelts as a simple fabric, to slip on and wear, or would it be too hard then, for her to repress the undeniable violence and horrendous cruelty implied and the fact that wearing fur precisely means wearing the unspoken pain, incontestable suffering and unjustifiable death of animals?

 

Fashion is like an unending and self- perpetuating wheel turning over and over, with constant and repetitive “In & Out” trends, this is why there’s no point in just ditching fur, if you are not going to back it up with a parallel crucial legislative work. It’s supremely important as it has been clearly shown that morality does not win over greed and No matter who the slaughtered victims are: Violence is & Will always be wrong; Therefore ‘fur’ must officially become illegal & Outlawed, internationally.”Think globally, act locally” as a ‘Key Strategy’ to achieving this.

”Nothing is stronger than an idea whose time has come”. It’s all about moral justice: The fur trade must become illegal. Cities & States must pass bills to ban the sale of fur. Local bans will become global. Do not let anyone tell you it is not possible, because we have ALREADY made it possible. West Hollywood, São Paulo/ Brazil, as well as Dublin and Fingal in Ireland have all banned the sale of fur. Since 2009, the ‘International Anti-Fur Coalition’ leads the bill to ban the sale of fur in Israel. The snowball is rolling down a hill & The domino theory is real. Nothing can, nor will stop us! Join us in making the fur industry a thing of the past! Let’s make history, on behalf of the animals. Thank You!


Killing animals for fur should become illegal: It’s high time that Governments banned the sale of fur (whether endangered species or not.) All animals suffer horrifically at the hands of this cruel industry, in the name of an immoral and irresponsible “fashion”. Fur should finally also disappear from fashion show runways, from shops and from the streets, too. It is time for fur to become again socially unacceptable and this time for good.

Obtaining Justice for all living beings / Stand by them, fight for them!

“A goal without a plan is just a wish”: The goal is raising awareness, about the atrocious fur industry, abolishing it and saving planet earthlings, killed for greed and vanity. The plan for achieving this epic mission is about taking a massive, determined legislative action: Worldwide bans on the sales of fur. This plan obviously requires an intense, hard, tenacious work and also lots of catalyst, irate, determined, selfless and passionate animal rights advocates, with unflagging enthusiasm, the world over. This can only be accomplished if the devoted activists ALWAYS keep in mind to NEVER ever GIVE UP, no matter how tremendous the obstacles seem, all can be surmounted. How paradoxical it is, but known that the road to success is paved with failure & When morality, selflessness, truth and compassion are on your side: At the end, you will reach all your goals. “Genius is perseverance in disguise”.

The realistic definition of the word fur:
  • Wearing or decorating oneself with animal corpses.
  • The criminal, immoral despicable practice of turning beautiful animals into ugly items in the name of greed, vanity and an inhumane industry.
  • Fur Synonyms: brutal, atrocious, barbarous, cold-blooded, hateful, heartless…
  • Fur Antonyms: thoughtful, compassionate, decent, humane, gentle, merciful…
  • Fur perfect allegory: Cruella De ville: A main villain Disney character from the animated movie “One Hundred and One Dalmatians”. “One of the most evil woman on Earth.” Quoting the song: “If she doesn’t scare you, No evil thing will. To see her is to take a sudden chill This vampire bat. This inhumane beast…”

Bills and Balls:
Catalyst definition: A thing that precipitates an event or change. A substance which speeds a chemical cosmic universal reaction, but itself remains unchanged.

The Israeli bill gave rise to endless arguments: It has been said (particularly by furriers, lobbyists and a few interested politicians) that the bill is too revolutionary / Progressive for its time, too groundbreaking, needless, cynical, skeptical, dangerous, harmful (for international diplomatic relations). And also a “real disaster” for the fur industry as it would influence, stimulate and inspire others. Yes, the inevitable domino effect, the unavoidable rolling, growing snowballs can not be stopped.

Of course, none of this is real; (Well, Except for the fur disaster speculation…) The only truth is much more simple than that; It is the fact that this non political and enlightened legislation served as a catalyst, for other compassionate world locations to follow. By prohibiting the sale of fur in its entirety, those world cities / states make a clear and ethical statement that fur is despicable and unacceptable and has utterly no more place in this modern age. Those protagonists are illuminating their clear intention, “not to lend a hand to this cruelty towards animals.” This is very respectful and humble. They chose morality over greed. They chose to protect animals and not economical pro-fur interests. They chose to guide, to lead and inspire, too. We are grateful!

More and more worldwide locations are taking this important and compassionate awakening step, on the rainbow path of moral justice. Time to take sides, time to evolve and time to step forward, Time to become international wrecking balls to destroy the evil barbaric fur industry.

I am Sorry.

I am sorry for all the human wrongs and the apathy,

I am sorry our earth became your hell and a place of agony,

I am sorry that you had only known a world of misery.

I am sorry for your life sentence in tiny dirty cages,

I am sorry for your merciless slayers of the dark ages.

I am sorry for the hurt, the loss, the torment and the greed,

I am sorry you had been scared, beaten, ripped apart and broken.

I am sorry you had never known any form of human kindness,

I am sorry for the love you had never felt, and for the distress.

I am sorry for your isolation, sadness and shattered families,

I am sorry I belong to the most inhumane and destructive species.

I am sorry for your pain and suffering, for the callous silence,

I am sorry for the arrogance, ignorance and for the heinous vanity.

I am sorry for all your stolen coats turned into bloody money.

I am so sorry for your brutal slaughter, violent death and war cry,

I am so sorry I failed to protect you, but I never failed to always try,

I never failed to be your witness and your voice in the darkness.
